Date 13th March 10am-11:30
Join us on the 1st July at 10:30 for a Jesmonite workshop with Charlotte Wolf Studios
In this experimental workshop you will take home two fully finished coasters or flat dishes.
Jesmonite is a versatile, professional quality non-toxic eco-resin that cures with a beautiful stone-like finish and offers great design possibilities for homewares.
Learn to:
- Mix and pigment Jesmonite AC100 to create your own unique colour palette.
- Choose from a selection of moulds to cast your two designs.
- Experiment with decorative techniques, including marbling, splatter, and terrazzo effects.
- Apply the finishing touches and seal your pieces so they're ready to use
I’ll provide a variety of square, circular and hexagonal silicone moulds: make coasters, trinket dishes or even a tray for your peppermill. They provide a flat surface which is perfect for experimenting with techniques.
Because Jesmonite sets so quickly, you’ll get to experience the complete creative journey, from the initial design to a finished product, all within a two-hour session. You could make a matching set or experiment with a couple of different styles – the choice is yours!
Suitable for beginners. Min age 16
